Community Candidate Forum

Join us for the Community Candidate Forum presented by the Monroe Chamber of Commerce. Candidates from the elections coming up this November will be invited to answer moderated questions. 
Election races include: 
-City of Monroe Mayoral Election Candidates Heather Fulcher and Patsy Cudaback
-City of Monroe City Council members incumbent Kevin Handford Position 1 as well as Joselyn Jones running for position 1. 
Returning Incumbent's Tammy Beaumont and Kyle Fisher. 
Brandy Blair running unopposed. 

The event will begin at 5pm inside Galaxy Theatres Monroe

There will be limited seating available

Please note the following rules:

- No signs will be allowed inside the building

- Questions will be asked by the moderator's only: there will be no 'open mic' for questions. The MAY be an opportunity to speak directly with candidates at the end of the forum; however, all persons shall vacate Galaxy Theatres building no later than 9 PM.

- Anyone disrupting the proceedings will be asked to leave. Should they refuse, the Monroe Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to have them removed immediately with Monroe Police Department present. 

Please be respectful of these candidates vying for public office. Cheer for the answers you like, sit quietly for ones you do not. Listen to all sides then make a choice. Thank you.
