Light Up Monroe
Thanks to the support and generosity spearheaded by Windermere Monroe, Light Up Monroe has grown into a small-block party style event at Traveler’s Park. LUM is a decades-old holiday tradition of community tree lighting and hometown celebration on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The Chamber seeks community partners who share our desire for a quality, family-oriented holiday celebration to broaden the depth of meaning of this exciting time of year.
The Monroe ChiliBowl is "a "toot'n good time! The ChiliBowl is held at the Monroe Community Senior Center and supports the Monroe Boys and Girls Club, Sky Valley Food Bank, the Monroe Chamber and the Monroe Community Senior Center. This is a great community event that encourages local businesses to engage with our community in a competitive, interactive but fun way!
