Annual Events

Business Excellence Awards Ceremony DECEMBER 2022 DATE TBD.

Held the first quarter of the year, the Annual Community Awards Ceremony celebrates the Chamber’s previous year’s accomplishments, conducts award presentations and provides members a place to also award and recognize their staff, volunteers and members.  The evening includes light refreshments and snacks, networking and award presentations. Welcome to everyone, free event.

Light Up Monroe
Date: November 27th, 2022,

Thanks to the support and generosity spearheaded by Windermere Monroe, Light Up Monroe our annual tree lightening ceremony has grown into a block party style event at Traveler’s Park! LUM is a decades-old holiday tradition of community tree lighting and hometown celebration on the Sunday after Thanksgiving.  The Chamber seeks community partners who share our desire for a quality, family-oriented holiday celebration to broaden the depth of meaning of this exciting time of year. You will find Santa & Mrs. Claus, caroling, free cookies, candy canes, reindeer food, hot coco, gas fireplaces to keep warm, hot coffee and more!

ChiliBowl
5:30 pm- 7 pm  (CANCELED DUE TO COVID)

The Monroe ChiliBowl is "a "toot'n good time!  The ChiliBowl is held at the Monroe Community Senior Center and supports the Monroe Boys and Girls Club, Sky Valley Food Bank, the Monroe Chamber and the Monroe Community Senior Center.  Guests are welcome to taste any of the chili for free, but highly encouraged to vote for their favorite chili.  This is a great community event that encourages local businesses to engage with our community in a competitive, interactive but fun way!

Fair Days Parade and Market

Date: August 27, 2022

Monroe’s favorite summertime tradition kicks off the Evergreen State Fair down the streets of Monroe on the last Saturday in August. Businesses have two opportunities to engage with over 9,000 local residents and guests. The Fair Days Parade is a great way to showcase your business down the streets of Monroe and the Fair Days Market is an opportunity to sell your wares. Registration for the Parade and Market NOW OPEN. THEME: "THE SHOW MUST GO ON"

Monroe Farmers Market

Wednesdays: May 25-Sept.7 2022

Held from May to the first week of September, the market is a community gathering of local farmers, homesteaders and artisans. We offer free live music, activities, face painting, Kid's pop up's, Pie Bake offs & more! Our primary goal and mission for the Farmers Market is to provide Monroe and the surrounding area's with farm-fresh produce, products and services! The market is held rain or shine. In the event of dangerous inclement weather such as thunder and lightening we will have to postpone or close early for unsafe conditions. 
WIC AND SNAP ACCEPTED.

Chocolate Crawl

Valentines Weekend, come celebrate February 12th & 13th in Downtown Monroe Main Street with over 20+ vendors! Starts at 11am and ends at 3pm. 

Music in the Park

Every Friday in July (except July 15)

6:30-8:30 PM

Monthly Events

Coffee and Connections (1st Friday of every other month)

Have a cup of coffee and engage in a focused, effective networking event at the Chamber. This monthly meeting is designed to help members hone their connection skills and build an effective network to grow their business.  This an informal networking event that is held in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that begins with attendees giving a quick 30-second overview about their business.

Every month we will also have a guest speaker to give us 5 business focused tips to increase customer engagements and create a new buzz in the community about your products and services.

Date Night 

Each week on Tuesday we will highlight local business members that would make a great Date Night location. 

New business and resident packages (mailed out the 3rd Friday of each month)

The Chamber mails out informational packages to all new businesses and new residents that have moved into Monroe.  They contain a welcome letter, advertising page, business cards and promotional material from only our Chamber members. We send out around 60-150 a month depending on new residents moving into Monroe & businesses opening. 

Chamber Luncheon (2nd Tuesday of each month) - WERE BACK IN PERSON!!!!

The Chamber’s monthly General Membership Luncheon is an informal opportunity to network with fellow Chamber Members and to hear discussions on topics of interest to the business community.  During these luncheons, we also recognize our milestone Member Anniversaries and welcome all New Members.
