Monroe Farmers Market Kids Day is August 12th!
We’re bringing the community together to celebrate our young artisans and entrepreneurs! Our kidtrepreneurs will be selling their amazing hand-crafted art, jewelry, gifts, etc. There's also plenty of fun activities like PNW Unicorns, games, giveaways, face painting, petting zoo and more.

Below is everything you need for Market Day information for Kids Day! Please click on the link and read through it. Lemonade cannot be sliced with real lemons- Health Dept. rules and regulations we must follow. You have to have a cottage license to do any BAKING this includes- cupcakes, bread, cookies, etc.

*Kids will NOT need liability insurance, business license or endorsements but must provide their own tent, table, chairs, everything they need to be able to set up their own "store" at the market.

    INFORMATION ON MARKET

We have a HIGH volume of applications, only one of each category will be selected. Growers and 4-H children will be selected first. Only 20 spaces available at the market. This market runs in conjunction with the regular farmers market, we create a space for young entrepreneurs to showcase their goods and have the opportunity to learn what it is like to have their own business- parents will be there to supervise and support but this is their day to shine!

This means your child must be able to

    1. handle food (if allowed by health dept.) 2. Take and fulfill orders, answer customer questions, take payment and make change.
Parents may help their child when needed but cannot interact with customers directly, if your child cannot do these things with minimal help, either simplify the product or wait for a future date when they are able to do so.

We welcome children with disabilities or special needs- and any person whose cognitive ability is under 18 years of age- to participate with any necessary parental assistance. Please notify us at check-in that you'll be helping.

We are so excited for this day and to vet applications!

Children must be between the ages of 6- 15 years of age.
