    Multi-Chamber Networking

    The Monroe Chamber is proud to organize the 4th quarter Multi-Chamber Mega Mixer. 

    This is an extraordinary opportunity to come together once a quarter for a colossal chamber networking event and connect with business professionals from around Snohomish County.

    EvergreenHealth is hosting the event and their chefs are very excited to cook up appetizers for us all. Everyone is encouraged to join us and network and grow your connections while snacking and mingling. 

    Please remember to bring plenty of business cards and a friend. The more the merrier to: 

    • Engage in networking and conversation with attendees from Chambers around the County.
    • Share a tip about what worked for you in 2018.

    Let's Light Up Monroe this holiday. Register today for the Holiday Window Decorating Contest. 

    The Monroe Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the start of the Holiday Window Decorating Contest! This is a great opportunity for any Monroe business and organization to join in the holiday cheer by decorating their window. This new annual contest is a great way for businesses to join together to brighten the holidays for our community.

    Participation in the contest is only $30 ($25 for Chamber members) and this year’s theme is Walking in a Window Wonderland. Decorators must have their windows completed by Sunday, November 25th-Light Up Monroe. Light Up Monroe will kick start the festivities with hundreds of people flocking to Downtown to see Santa and the tree at Travelers Park lit. Attendees will be encouraged to walk from one festive window to another adding to their holiday experience.  All participants will be marked on the Holiday Window Decorating Map. The Map will be available at participating businesses and online. 

    There will be 4 competitive categories that window decorating participants can vie for this year. 

    • People’s Choice Award will be online starting at Light Up Monroe and end Saturday, December 29. Voters will automatically be entered to win an Experience Monroe gift basket and various prizes. The votes will be cast through our Facebook event page. 
    • The three other categories judged by the Monroe Chamber Board of Directors and Ambassadors will be Most ThematicBest at Night and Most Monroe.

    The winning windows will be announced December 31st with the winners receiving: A picture of their window featured in a congratulatory post online following the contest, as well as being part of the featured promotion for the contest next year! 

    Interested applicants should complete this form. Those who can decorate but have no window space or who have window space but cannot decorate will be matched up so that everyone can participate.

    REGISTRATION DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 10 TO BE PRINTED ON THE MAP.

    Light Up Monroe is a fun, family friendly event that celebrates the winter season and a fun way to ring in the holidays!

    One of the elements of Light Up Monroe is the Holiday Light Cruise.  Hundreds of people will gather for the pageantry which starts at City Hall, goes along Main Street through Downtown and ends at Traveler's Park.   

    APPLICATION GUIDELINES:

    The Holiday Light Cruise is open to community groups, non-profit organizations and local businesses. Creativity is highly encouraged!

    PLEASE - NO LIVE SANTAS! Bring the elves, but Santa is the last entry in the Cruise each year and there can only be one.

    The Cruise begins at City Hall and ends at Travelers Park. Staging is on a first come-first staged and entries are limited to the first 25 entries. Please call Janelle at 360.794.5488 with any questions. 

    Limit one street legal vehicle per parade entry.  Limit one entry per group. This is a cruise to Travelers Park and streets will not be closed and traffic will not be stopped for cruising vehicles. All traffic laws will be enforced. The Cruise will be led by a Monroe Police officer.

    FEE: Commercial, Nonprofit, Business Entry Fee - $30 (Chamber members save $5.00)

    The ChiliBowl is an annual event held at the Monroe Community Senior Center benefiting the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, Monroe Boys & Girls Club, Monroe Community Senior Center and Sky Valley Food Bank. 

    All Monroe businesses are invited to join the fun and show off your famous chili recipe! 

    Register here to be a part of 2019's chili cook-off competition! 

    Competitors are to make 1 large crock pot of chili and should come to the event between 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm on January 29, 2019. All entries are for only one plug/one crockpot.

    You and your team of cookers can choose a theme for your table, decorate and dress accordingly. 

    Theme, flavor, spice and originality are all part of the judging criteria.
